1. MIAMI INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR     
Monday, November 13 - 19, 2017 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Come out to the Miami International Book Fair, featuring six nights of readings and discussions with noted authors from the United States and around the world. During Street Fair weekend, November 17-19, more than 250 publishers and booksellers will exhibit and sell books, with special features like the antiquarians, who showcase signed first editions, original manuscripts and other collectibles. 2. A MIAMI MOVIE NIGHT
Tuesday, November 14, 2017, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Ayiti Images in collaboration with the Miami Book Fair presents a special outdoor movie screening of "Liberty in a Soup". Every January 1st, in celebration of their independence, Haitian families gather around the dinner table to celebrate their freedom with “Soup Joumou”. Join as Independent filmmaker Dudley Alexis explores the background and meaning of the delicious and culturally significant tradition. This event is free and open to the public. 5. THE GARDEN PARTY
Thursday, November 16, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Join the Revenant Coffee House & Eatery as they celebrate the re-launch of their urban garden space in Fort Lauderdale. 6. ISLAND TING   
Friday, November 17, 2017, 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

8. BLACK DYNAMITE IN 35MM AT THE GABLES CINEMA
Saturday, November 18, 2017, 11:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
The Gables Cinema presents your favorite movies from late-night cult classics to foreign favorites every Saturday at 11:30 pm. This week’s featured film is the 1970s film Black Dynamite, a movie about a Vietnam War veteran and former CIA officer, who vows to clean up the streets of drug dealers and gangsters after the murder of his younger brother. 9. VAN JONES PRESENTS: BEYOND THE MESSY TRUTH
Sunday, November 19, 2017, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
